The National Registry of African American Oral Histories database allows you to conduct searches using key words, such as name, city of birth, year of birth, occupation, and subject (i.e. Civil Rights Movement). After you complete the online search form, the database generates a list of all interviews that contain those keywords. The records will contain the location of the repository where the material is archived as well as contact information so you can set up an appointment to view the material.
